Time passes, yet some moments continue to shine just as brightly in our memory…
April 25, 2008
🕉️ Juno Reactor — Alta Expo, Kyiv, Ukraine
🛸 This whole blast of a night happened thanks to JANCO.
Rumor says that the moment Zhenya first heard Juno Reactor he just dropped:
“They HAVE to play in Ukraine.”
And, well… he made it real.
As part of their European tour, Juno Reactor landed in Kyiv on April 25th, dropping their brand-new album Gods & Monsters live.
Here’s the twist: on the same day Juno Reactor played, JANCO became a father.
Booking a legendary act, running the event AND welcoming a newborn on the same day — that’s some real-life superhero mode activated)))
It was JANCO’s debut event, symbolically synced with the birth of his kid — and the birth of his promo journey.
Location: Alta Expo
JUNO REACTOR — LIVE (UK)
Brave Rec. (Japan), Metropolis Rec. (USA)
Album Showcase: Gods & Monsters
SYNSUN — LIVE & DJ SET (Ukraine)
ZYMOSIS / MAGMADIVERS feat. TORUS KNOT — LIVE & DJ SET (Ukraine)
BINGHI — DJ SET (Ukraine)
☸️ The whole setup was top-tier: sound engineered by Zinteko together with Juno Reactor’s own light and sound crew — full concert mode.
𓂀 Binghi dropped his signature fire: Hutsul & tribal samples, drymba vibes — pure energy.
Synsun & Zymosis played fresh material, and on a concert-grade system it sounded wild — in the best way.
ॐ Juno Reactor went full power mode, performing with a complete lineup:
Ben Watkins, Taz Alexander, Mabi Thobejane, Michael LaDonga, Simpiwe Marele, Mandala Lande, Greg Ellis, Sugizo, Squid (Ghetto Priest).
When they hit the stage, the air pressure in the venue literally shifted.
It wasn’t just a concert — it felt like an ancient ceremony being summoned ☬.
The music moved like a living entity.
“Gods & Monsters” was a blend of electronic energy and live organic sound ᛟ.
☯️ The arrangements mixed Eastern, African, and electronic flavors, building a multi-layered sonic world 🔥.
Tracks moved through emotional states — tension, reflection, deep melancholy — all shaped by live instruments and crystal-clear acoustic textures ᛞ.
ᛉ The album evolved inside every track, shifting rhythms, instruments, moods 🌒.
ॐ A hybrid of ethnic roots and experimental sound design, it stood as one of the key works in Juno Reactor’s discography 🌕᛫.
Pushing the boundaries of electronic music — that’s what made it iconic 🌀ᛃ
